Fit perfectly in my motorcycle panniers, did not take up much room and was very easy to set up and take down.
I have had the Cloud 2 for a couple of years now and it has performed excellent for my back country trip. The design sheds water and ice that other designs don’t. Also I bought the Cloud 2 for the additional room for my gear which has worked out very well with the tent been in the reasonable weight category. I would highly recommend it without pay the big cost of other manufacturers tents.
Intuitive set-up that took less than 5-minutes on first attempt. Packs easily and is small enough to bring in a standard carry on bag (without stakes, which likely wouldn't make it through airport security in a carry on). Very lightweight and compact for backpacking. Did well through heavy thunderstorms.
Cloud Up 2. As a budget tent, I expected this to withstand rain for few hours and then eventually would get some water inside. Took it to Algonquin late August. Poured for 12 hours straight over the night. Completely dry inside.
I’ve had this tent now for 3 years. And it has performed exceptionally well! I’ve had it mostly in Colorado for elk season and Arizona deer hunting. Conditions from dry hot to rain/snow below freezing. As long as you take care by keeping it clean and waterproofing between heavy use or annually this tent will do what you need! For 1/3 the price of “high end” tents this punches way above the price point!!
When you're miles from the trailhead, your tent is your lifeline. The Ultralight 2-Person Camping Tent is built for backpackers who refuse to carry dead weight — 20D silicone-coated fabric keeps it featherlight without sacrificing the protection you need when conditions change fast.
• 20D silicone-coated fabric — ultralight yet tough, with excellent tear resistance and waterproofing that holds up in real conditions
• Spacious vestibule — store your pack, boots, and gear outside the sleeping area without cluttering your space
• 2-person capacity — enough room for two backpackers and their essentials
• Minimalist design — fast to pitch, easy to pack, nothing wasted
• Available in Navy or White (20D) — choose your color and hit the trail
Thru-hikers. Weekend backpackers. Ultralight enthusiasts. Anyone who wants a shelter that keeps up with them — not the other way around. Pack it in. Sleep well. Go further.
